This is a challenge I have really wanted to get in on but haven’t had the opportunity to. A big thank you to GoldInTheRust and Pearls and Grit for the nominations and encouragement to take part!
Here are the Rules:
1. Thank the person who nominated you.
2. Post a quote for three consecutive days (1 quote for each day).
3. Nominate three bloggers each day.
Since today is the final day of this challenge I felt like I should pick an extra special quote. Something that truly encompassed what I consider to be one of the most important aspects of life. The ability to dream, to imagine, to create the life we all want to have whatever that may mean to each individual.
I searched high and low, coming up short handed with each new quote I found. There were so many beautiful, thought-provoking messages penned by brilliant minds. None though seemed to capture that idea quite right.
Finally, after about two hours and dozens of varied search terms I found a list of quotes that spoke to me. In this list, I found the perfect, simple quote to end this wonderful challenge.
Imagination should be used, not to escape reality, but to create it.” Colin Wilson
I’ve heard so many times that imagination is an escape, a way to cope with reality. To me though, it is a vessel in which to build and create the reality our dreams portray.
An imagined world is an dream, a dream with a timeline is a goal. All it takes is imagination and desire. A universe without imagination is a universe of dull colors and stagnancy.
Dream endlessly and harness the power of imagination to reach those dreams.
Here are my final 3 nominees!
