The Questions Of Life

Can you tell me why some people’s eye sparkle bright while others fade to a dark dull gray?

Can you tell me how children sing while their parents worry endlessly?

Can you tell me when the beauty in the world became marred and maimed by evil things?

Can you tell me where those smiles go when darkness takes them all away?

Can you tell me who I can ask these things for only answers can set me free?

If you had the answers, would you share?

Would you elaborate on the world and things that seem in such a brittle state?

No? Neither can I.

What can I do? What can you do?

I think I know.

Please, if you see a sparkle grayed let them know it’ll be ok.

Please, if you hear a parent fret let them know they’re the best you’ve met.

Please, if you see the evil spreading far send out some good to one and all.

Please, if you feel the smiles fade in the dark remember times with happy a spark.

Please, if you can’t find an answer true just ask yourself and listen, too.

The world, you see, is full of ample mystery.

Some good, some bad, some just dreadfully sad.

You and me and him and her, we are the key.

Embrace positivity to elaborate on life.

I’ve never done poetry but I felt like today was a good day to give it a shot! I’d love feedback on what you think and where you think I can improve. ๐Ÿ™‚

Do you think the world is positive enough? Do you think we each have the power to make the day brighter? How do you find answers? Feel free to start a discussion below! I would be thrilled to hear your ideas on life.

  1. The world, you see, is full of ample mystery.
    Itโ€™s brilliant and very thoughtful.

Rather than trying to figure it all out, let the mystery unfold and prepare to be delighted.
